Drawings i.s.m. Marc Vanrunxt
Music and dance leave you breathless in this fascinating trip through space
Choreographer Marc Vanrunxt drew his inspiration for this work, from Gérard Grisey’s masterpiece for percussion ensemble Le noir de l'étoile. The sound of a pulsar is the literal pulse that sets the music in motion. The four dancers from Kunst/Werk and the five musicians from Slagwerk Den Haag plunge into the darkest space for a fascinating trip. As his answer to Le noir de l'étoile, composer/sonologist Hugo Morales Murguía presents a new work for solar panels, rotating light beacon and four percussionists.
